The HBA Homer Awards are the "Oscars" of the St. Louis Homebuilding Community. It is an annual local competition to recognize design, workmanship, and value in residential construction projects throughout the St. Louis area. We are proud of receiving twenty-three Homer Awards recognizing our ability to effectively blend innovative design and expert craftsmanship.
NRS Diamond Award in Homeowner Satisfaction
The NHS™ Diamond Award is presented to the builder who have the highest NHS™ Index score in the NHS™ Study. Consolidated Construction was ranked highest in Homeowner Satisfaction among all remodelers nationwide in 2004.

Buiding Performance institute
BPI is a leading developer of technical standards for home performance and weatherization retrofit work that are recognized across North America. BPI programs have been
structured with one important fact in mind: The house is a system and
everything is connected. The relationship between all interconnected
systems of the house is the key to its overall performance, efficiency,
and durability. Moreover, home performance is essential to the health,
safety, and comfort of occupants. Certified BPI professionals are
trained to quickly target, diagnose, and solve household performance
problems.
Home Energy Rating System Program
HERS (Home Energy Rating System) is a rating system developed by RESNET in order to measure how efficient a home performs. A home energy rating involves an analysis of a home's construction plans
and onsite inspections. Based on the home's plans, the Home Energy Rater
uses an energy efficiency software package to perform an energy
analysis of the home's design. This analysis yields a projected,
pre-construction HERS Index.
Certified Lead Abatement Supervisor
A Lead Abatement Supervisor is a certified individual who supervises any measure or set of measures designed to permanently eliminate lead-based paint hazards in a residential dwelling or child-occupied facility. Lead abatement includes the removal of lead-based paint and lead-contaminated dust, the permanent enclosure or encapsulation of lead-based paint, the replacement of lead-painted surfaces or fixtures, and the removal or covering of lead-contaminated soil. A Lead Abatement Supervisor also conducts lead abatement activities, and prepares the occupant protection plans and abatement reports.
Lead-Safe Renovation, Repair, and Painting Certified Firm
On April 22, 2010, the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) Lead; Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) rule went into effect. The rule applies to all persons who are paid to perform renovation, repair and painting projects where painted surfaces are disturbed in pre-1978 housing, child care facilities and schools where lead paint is present. The rule contains requirements to distribute an EPA informational brochure in advance of the work and to follow lead-safe work practices outlined in the training, including proper clean up and verification testing to determine compliance with the rule, as well as requirements for proper record keeping. The rule requires EPA certification for contracting firms and contractors performing the work. Window and door replacement is impacted by the rule.
